100% Guaranteed To Eliminate Odours!

What is Ozone?

Ozone is the 2nd strongest oxidizer know to exist and works 3,124 times faster than chlorine. When its job is done, ozone returns to its original form of oxygen. Ozone oxidizes many forms of matter.

It is used chiefly for:

  • Disinfection
  • Detoxification
  • Deodorization
Ozone reacts with carbon to form carbon dioxide. This is important because many protein odours are carbon based. Ozone will also turn cyanides to the one thousand times less toxic cyanates.

How Does Ozone Actually Work?

Explanation

Organic substances, like odours, are composed of hydrocarbon molecules. Ozone is an unstable molecule that attacks hyrdocarbon molecules and breaks them down into harmless substances like carbon dioxide, oxygen, and trace amounts of water.

In fungi, ozone inhibits cell growth at certain stages. With viruses, the ozone damages the viral capsid and upsets the reproductive cycle by disrupting visus-to-cell contact with peroxidation. Unlike ozone, filters, ionzers and sprays do not eliminate the cause of odours. Once the cause has been eliminated, the odour does not come back unless the source that casued the odour is reintroduced.

Applications

The largest use of ozone is in the preparation of pharmaceuticals and synthetic lubricants. It can also be used for bleaching sustances and killing microorganisms in air and water sources. A disinfectant for laundry in hospitals, food, factories, care homes, etc.

Deodorizes air and objects after a fire or flooding. Kills bacteria on food or on contact surfaces. Many hospitals in the U.S. and around the world use large ozone generators to decontaminate operating rooms between surgeries. Hotels, motels, sports equipment, smoking areas, residential dwellings. It is used in the food industry to slow down the ripening of fruit and vegetables due to mold. Pollutant sources are: oil , gas, kerosene, coal, wood combustion, building materials, pressed wood products, household cleaners, tobacco, smoke, and personal care supplies.

The Solution To Pollution

Reduce or eliminate biological components like mold , bacteria ,viruses, and also chemical gases like cleaning agents, paint fumes, gas and formaldehydes. Source control such as ventilation improvements and air cleaners are effective ways of improving indoor air quality, OZONE is another.

Health effects may show immediately or years after exposure, and some effects are-sinus, headaches, fever, shortness of breath, dizziness, anxiety, allergic reactions, eye/nose and throat irritation.
